F   fine

     A coin that has been in circulation and shows general signs of wear,but with all legends and date clearly visable.

VF  very fine

   A coin that has had very little use,but shows signs of wear on the high serfaces.

EF  extremely fine

   A coin in this grade may appear uncirculated to the naked eye but on closer examination will show signs of minor friction on the highest surface.

UNC  uncirculated

  A coin that has never been in circulation,although it may show signs of contact with other coins during the minting process.
